Tucked away in the lush surroundings, cabin "de Bever" offers a simple yet charming retreat where you can truly unwind. With its wooden walls, compact furnishings, and natural setting, this cabin feels like a real getaway in nature. It’s perfect for those who appreciate simplicity and the charm of outdoor living but still want a sheltered and comfortable place to stay.

Equipped with everything you need
De Bever is suitable for up to three people and comes with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. You’ll have access to the campsite’s toilet and shower facilities, allowing you to enjoy the freedom and laid-back camping experience with just that extra bit of comfort.

Discover the comfort of cabin "de Bever"

Cabin "de Bever" is fully furnished and thoughtfully laid out. The sleeping area, separated from the living space by a curtain, features a bunk bed and a single bed. The beds are made up with fitted sheets and pillows, but you'll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillowcase. No linen with you? You can rent it from us.

Next to the cabin, there is space to set up a small tent, perfect for an extra guest or a child, at no additional cost. The kitchen is equipped with a counter, a three-burner gas stove, a fridge, running cold water, electricity, and an internet cable connection.

Perfect for the cooler months
Even in the pre- and post-season, cabin "de Bever" remains a warm and welcoming retreat. The cabin is easy to heat, ensuring you can stay comfortably even on colder days. Our cozy dining room and library with a seating area are also available for guests, offering a perfect spot to warm up, read, or meet others.

Whether you choose a summer stay with the sounds of nature in the background, or a cozy overnight in a fall landscape, "de Bever" offers you an authentic, simple experience in nature.

Good to know

Smoke-free grounds: Since January 1, 2020, all our grounds are smoke-free, including e-cigarettes.

Radiation-free stay: For the well-being of our community and guests who are sensitive to radiation, we kindly ask everyone (residents, participants, and visitors) to set mobile devices, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, and other electronic devices to airplane mode or turn them off while on our grounds (including Thietry, the goat farm, Forge Neuve, the Tea House, and the swimming lake).

In the guest rooms, rental accommodations, and general information area/library, Ethernet cables are available for guests to use. Additionally, there is an internet station in the parking area with login details for those who wish to take a mindful moment to use their phone, laptop, or tablet.

Biodegradable products: To protect our natural water treatment system, we kindly ask that you use only biodegradable personal care products (such as toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, and sunscreen).

Children’s festival: One week in August, our grounds host the Children’s Festival ("het Eigentijds Kinderfestival"). During this week, there will be a lively, festive atmosphere, which means the usual peace and quiet may be less prominent. For exact dates, please check the Children’s Festival website.

Availability

Upon arrival the cabin is available from 4.00 p.m. On departure we ask you to leave the cabin no later than 10.30 a.m.

Rental periods

The cabin is for hire only for a full week or multiples thereof, running from Saturday to Saturday. Weekend or midweek rentals could be agreed upon.

Use of other facilities at ECOlonie

When renting a cabin you may make use of all our facilities just as our camping and guesthouse guests. For instance: our shop, the art studio, participation in workshops or guided walks. You may also join in for meals (please book before 11 a.m.) which are served at the main area ‘Thietry’.

Meals

If you do not stay full board you may reserve lunch and/or dinner daily (before 11.00 a. m.).

  • Lunch: €14,-
  • Dinner: €20,50
  • All meals (including coffees and teas): €41,50
  • Children aged 4 to 12 receive a 50% reduction.

The environment

We have a water purifying system (sand filters). To protect our natural water treatment system, we kindly ask that you use only biodegradable (personal care) products, such as toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap, and sunscreen. In our shop (La Vie Verte) we have a great collection of (homemade) biodegradable products.
