Log cabin Marten is new since 2022. The log cabin measures 4 by 5 metres and has room for 4 to 6 people to sleep. The front has French doors and 3 windows. Inside, the log cabin is furnished with a kitchenette, sitting area, a double bed, a bunk bed and a sofa bed, which can be converted into a double bed or 2 single beds. The kitchenette has a gas stove for cooking. The equipment is deliberately kept as ecological as possible: no running water (a water tap is nearby) and a cool box instead of a fridge. But there is electricity. The folding chairs inside can be put under the bed for more space, or folded out to eat at the table inside. The veranda has a dining table and chairs with a large parasol.
The beds are made up with fitted sheets and pillows. You bring your own sleeping bag and pillowcase. Linen can be hired if necessary. There is room to put up your own small tent next to the cabin, which is free of charge.
Even in the early and late season, it is pleasant to stay in a log cabin, and at a bargain price! The log cabin can be additionally heated for a pleasant stay in colder months. We also have a cosy dining room and a library with sitting area for our camping guests to use. Furthermore, from 1 May the Orangery will be open, where you can sit inside and make a cup of tea or coffee.
Good to know: all our sites are smoke-free. E-cigarettes are not allowed either.
We have a natural water purification system (sand filters); therefore, only biodegradable (dishwashing) detergents and soap may be used. These are of course also available in our shop.
In addition, we ask you to put wireless devices (with wifi, bluetooth and mobile phones) on aeroplane mode at our sites. We do this for several reasons, which we are happy to explain to you .

Praktische informatie
Availability and rental periods
On the day of arrival, the cabin is available from 16.00 hrs. On the day of departure, the cabin should be empty by 10.30 am.
During the May and autumn holidays and the summer months of July and August, the log cabin can only be rented per week from Saturday to Saturday. Outside these periods, a weekend or midweek is possible on request.

Meals
If you do not stay full board you may reserve lunch and/or dinner daily (before 11.00 a. m.).

The environment
We have a water purifying system (sand filters). That is why we can only allow the use of biodegradable cleaning liquids (already provided), shampoos and soaps. You could buy these at any organic shop or at our shop at Thietry.
